New Beginnings

I’ve learned a lot about myself over the past few years. I’ve learned that I love to start things. In fact, I start a lot of things. A real estate business. A small bricks and mortar business. A girl scout troop. A local networking group. But I had an “ah ha” moment a few months ago… a moment that really made me look hard at what I’m doing and how I can make the most impact in my clients’ lives. I was conducting interviews, trying to build a team that could help me expand my business. But interview after interview, I found myself deep in conversation with each candidate about their hopes and dreams of starting a new business, switching career fields, or reinventing themselves after staying home with kids. And I was coaching them to take the next steps to pursue those dreams - which ultimately meant not taking a position with me. I did this time and time again and time again. 

And I realized that I love beginnings. 

I love the excitement that builds when a new business idea is born. I love the first glimpse of a brand story coming together, and the drive and uncertainty of a new entrepreneur, putting her ideas on paper for the first time. I love watching a new real estate agent enter the field, undeterred by the ebbs and flows of the market - determined to make her way.

Sometimes you just have to quiet your mind and listen closely, and life reveals a new path forward. It starts with one intuitive nudge, and then another… until you feel the pull of a new path so strongly that you can’t help but change course. 

As it turns out, the spark I’ve been seeking has been within me all along… I just wasn’t listening closely enough. That spark finds its flame when I’m helping others pursue their dreams. And I love using the roads I’ve traversed and the lessons I’ve learned to make their lives easier. 

I’ve spent my life collecting experiences in marketing, business ownership and sales, but also developing a deep yoga practice, educating myself about the soothing energy of healing stones, journeying deeper into my own self awareness through astrology, travel, and tarot. Like the yin and the yang, this is the balance of life… something our society has moved away from in its constant pursuit of success, and growth, and achievement. 

And I can’t wait to bring this world of balance and ease to life for the real estate agent and entrepreneur. Through the creation of a suite of digital tools focused on simplified marketing, business process tools, and ultimately, a collaborative community, my mission is to take the “hard” out of marketing and help businesses find their flow.

I love that in pursuing this path, I get to live in a world of new beginnings. I get to help the budding entrepreneur bring her brand vision to life. I get to pave a path for new real estate agents who want to find their way to success more quickly. I get to help real estate agents and business owners breathe new life into their businesses by helping them find their own life balance, or restructuring their marketing to reach clients more authentically. And whenever I’m feeling the urge to create something new myself, I can put that drive into creating a new course or business process tool or guide that will ultimately help someone else’s business grow.

My vision has changed and stretched and grown over the past few months. It has had a dozen names, and a hundred different interactions. And although it’ll probably continue to change in time, right now, it feels whole. 

So here’s to new beginnings ⟡
